The mission of the Chamber of Commerce is to promote and improve trade and commerce and the civic, commercial and industrial progress of the district served by the organization. The Chamber is open to membership from any individual, business or civic group wishing to promote and improve our region. The membership is global with representatives from all walks of life. The executive is made up of the President, Vice President, Treasurer, four directors at large plus standing committee chairpersons for Membership and Insurance. As a larger group with representation from every corner of the town, we are working closely with local government and other organizations to ensure the voice of local business is heard and plays a role in the future direction of our community.

The (GRCA) has initiated a new program to address existing and emerging water management issues for the watershed. The plan will focus on securing water supply for future growth, preserving and improving water quality, and flood damage reduction. It will include local objectives for Centre Wellington.

Guelph Wellington Local Immigration Partnership:
The Guelph-Wellington Local Immigration Partnership (GWLIP) was established in 2009 as one of 35 LIPs across Ontario funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC). The City of Guelph became the home of the GWLIP and continues to host the project and its staffers.The GWLIP is steered by a leadership council whose members represent organizations that provide settlement, health care, and social services; sectors such as government, education and business; and community organizations such as ethno-cultural, faith, and youth groups. Newcomers, immigrants, and community members interested in immigration issues are also welcome

RT0 4 was incorporated in October 2010 pursuant to the Ontario Ministry of Toursim’s request to create an organization that will coordinate the diverse interests of the tourism industry to build and support a competitive tourism region through marketing and destination management.

Saugeen Economic Development Corporation & Wellington Waterloo Community Futures Development Corporation The Saugeen Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) and Wellington-Waterloo Community Futures Development Corporation (WWCFDC) are federally supported not-for-profit Community Futures Development Corporation, governed by volunteers in partnership with Industry Canada. The services provided by the SEDC exist to promote economic growth and community development of Grey County as well as the Township of Wellington North and Town of Minto in Wellington County. The services provided by the WWCFDC exist to promote economic growth and community development of the Region of Waterloo and the County of Wellington. Both organizations focuses on job creation through community strategic planning and by providing funding and advisory services to area businesses. Economic development support, business consulting and business loans are available to all businesses and residents of rural areas of the County of Wellington and the Region of Waterloo and Grey County.
