The Municipality of the Township of Wellington North is governed by an elected council consisting of a Mayor and four councilors currently serving a four-year term. The actual governing of the township follows the rules and regulations set out by the Provincial Government in the Municipal Act.

The Township of Wellington North Municipal Office is located at 7490 Sideroad 7 West in Kenilworth and houses the Administration, Clerk’s, Recreation, Public Works, Building, Treasury and Economic Development offices. The office is open Monday to Friday - 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
