Animal Control ensures a safe and healthy environment for both our residents and animals in our Township.
R & R Animal Control is contracted to provide canine (dog) control services to the Township of Wellington North enforcing the Township’s Dog By-law. R & R Animal Control can be contacted at all times for assistance.
R & R Animal Control
All dogs in Wellington North must be registered and licensed with the municipality annually.

LIVESTOCK CLAIMS: To file a Livestock claim under the Protection of Livestock and Poultry from Dogs Act, please contact Clerk’s Office at the Township of Wellington North Municipal Office in Kenilworth.

BIRTH, DEATH AND MARRIAGE: Request for a Birth Certificate
Once your baby’s birth is registered with the Office of the Registrar General for the Province of Ontario, you can apply for a birth certificate. Birth Certificates are issued by the Office of the Registrar General. Applications are available from the Wellington North Municipal Office or from the link below.
Application forms are available from the Wellington North Municipal Office or from the link below. Marriage and Death Certificates are issued by the Office of the Registrar General for the Province of Ontario. All completed applications and payments must be directed to the Office of the Registrar General for the Province of Ontario.
An appointment is necessary for the issuance of a marriage licence. Please contact the Municipal Office at 519-848-3620 to arrange an appointment with the Township Office. A Marriage Licence Application form can be downloaded from the link below.
Licence Fee: $125.00
Cash or Debit
The licence expires 3 months after the date of issue. A marriage licence is valid for use anywhere in Ontario.
COMMISSIONING AND CERTIFICATION: Commissioning and Certification of Documents – only documents considered to be municipal related/government forms will be commissioned by the Clerk or Treasurer. A fee will be charged depending on the document and will apply for the following: Birth & Death Certificates, Change of Name Act Application, Out of Country Pension Forms, Health Unit Inoculation Forms, Vehicle Transfers and other approved forms or documents.
