Heather Wollis

Heather Wollis is a member of the Lady Legends slo-pitch team which won the NSA Provincial Ladies “C” Championship in October 2023. Heather was a key member of getting the team off the ground in 2023. Heading into the season, Heather was looking to act as a coach/manager, but by the time provincials began she added “player” to her title, becoming one of the main players on the team, pitching in all but one game at the tournament.

The Lady Legends are based out of Mount Forest, and have their sights set on the National Championship in 2025.

Two additional teams and two individual athletes will receive their Recognition of Outstanding Achievement in Sports certificates on Monday, June 24.

The Township of Wellington North is now accepting applications for the Fall 2024 intake of the program. Details about the Recognition of Outstanding Achievement in Sports Program can be found at www.wellington-north.com.
