Damascus Day Camp

Join us for an unforgettable summer adventure at our NEW Damascus Day Camp! Designed for children aged 9 to 12, our program offers a perfect blend of outdoor exploration, environmental education, and hands-on fun. Campers will engage in a variety of activities, including arts and crafts, team-building games, outdoor fun, physical activities and lessons in domestic skills such as baking and preserves.

Frequently Asked Questions and Additional Information

Campers that require additional support so that they can be fully included and supported at our camp program, are welcome to bring a volunteer or family member, 16 years of age or older, to join them and support in this capacity. Additionally, our camp works with the Canadian Mental Health Association Waterloo Wellington - Supporting Kids in Camp (SKIC) Program.
Supporting Kids in Camp (SKIC)
Supporting Kids in Camp (SKIC) provides children who have special needs with trained and experienced one-to-one workers, called Support Counsellors, so that they may attend specialized and/or integrated community camps. There is no cost to families for this service!

Cancellation and Refund Policy
General:
- Refunds submitted after course/program has started will only be issued for medical reasons.
- No refunds will be granted after a course/program has been completed.
- A $10.00 administration fee will be charged on all refund applications, except those cancelled by the Community & Economic Development Department.
- Refunds/make-ups will not be issued for course/programs cancelled due to inclement weather, with the exception of private and semi-private swimming lessons, where a refund will be issued if the pool is required to close.
- If a withdrawal from a program is requested and the space can be filled by someone on the waiting list, regardless of timeframe prior to course start date, only the $10.00 administration fee will be applied.
7 Days or More:
Cancellations made 7 days or more, prior to the course/program start-date will receive a full refund, less an administration fee of $10.00.
6 Days or Less:
Cancellations made 6 days or less, prior to the course/program start-date will not be eligible to receive a refund. Exceptions made for health/medical reasons.
Course/Program cancellation by the Community & Economic Development Department:
A full refund will be issued for a course/program cancelled by the Community & Economic Development Department. No administration fee will apply.
