Arthur Water System Supply Redundancy and Storage
Notice of Public Information Centre
Project:
The Township of Wellington North (Township) is holding a Public Information Centre to review the alternatives for the existing Arthur water system to address the need for water supply redundancy and additional water storage to support expected population growth. The existing water supply wells and towers in Arthur’s water system are shown on the map below.
The project is being planned following the Schedule B process in the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment to identify and evaluate alternatives to address the water supply and storage requirements and select a preferred alternative. Consultation with affected or interested stakeholders, Agencies and Indigenous Communities is a key element in the planning process.
How to Participate:
You are encouraged to attend the Public Information Centre (PIC) and provide comments to be included in this Project and considered in finalizing the selection of the preferred alternative and identification of appropriate mitigation measures.
The PIC will be held as an informal “Open House/Drop-in” format, with materials pertaining to the study on display and members of the Project Team available to answer questions and discuss Project related issues.
The Public Information Centre will be held on:

Information will be collected in accordance with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
