Important Information for Residents
The Township of Wellington North maintains 390 kilometres of roadways and 334 fire hydrants—135 in Arthur and 199 in Mount Forest.
Due to the recent heavy snowfall, our teams are diligently working to clear roads and hydrants. Residents are reminded not to pile snow on roads or sidewalks, in accordance with the Highway Traffic Act.
We kindly request your assistance in clearing nearby fire hydrants if possible. This small effort significantly contributes to the safety of our community. Additionally, we appreciate your patience as our crews work tirelessly to ensure all areas are serviced promptly and efficiently.
