Wellington North Fire assists building owners in requests for inspection of buildings to achieve compliance with the Ontario Fire Code.
Request for fire inspection
The majority of fire inspections are completed on a by request basis. To request an inspection, please email Deputy Chief Marco Guidotti at mguidotti@wellington-north.com or call 519-323-1441. Please provide the building owner’s name, address, phone number and type of building requiring inspection.
The fees for inspections are as follows:
- Single Residence - $100.00
- Institution/ Industrial/ Commercial - $125.00
- Apartments & Condominiums - $100.00 + $10.00 per unit
File searches
To determine if there are fire code violations on a property, you require a letter from the person requesting the file search and written authorization from the current owner giving permission to conduct the search. File searches are $200.00. Please contact 519-323-1441 to get started.
